Easter blessing

As we enter a time of rest and thanksgiving over this Easter period, may we remember the significance of Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection from the grave. It is faith in this very event that sets us apart, freeing us from the clutches of sin and giving us newness of life in Him.

Let us rejoice and be glad. We have been given eyes to see and ears to hear; no longer do we have to live in darkness. Through Christ, we have true joy, knowing that in our brokenness He loved us—enduring pain and scorn, submitting to death—so that we may know Him and be called sons and daughters of the Almighty God.

As such, we walk under the covering of His sovereignty and know peace. As He says, “Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Praise be to God.

Stories from the week

Ending a wonderful first term with some good old fun and games is always a delight. Our Gardens Nook teachers ensured plenty of enjoyment by organising a variety of activities, including big shoe races, bite-the-moving-pretzel, and blindfolded quests. The sounds of squeals and laughter were music to our ears.

With our beautiful Cape Town weather holding up, our Three Peaks children made the most of the outdoors with active ball challenges, obstacle courses, and marble games. To round off the evening, after enjoying boerewors rolls and popcorn, Bingo proved to be the final hit! Thank you for your support of this event.

At Three Peaks, we often speak about “serving one another.” Serving is an act of selfless kindness that seeks the benefit of others, often at a cost to ourselves.

During the course of this week, we took our Grade 6 and 7 boys to Langa Primary School to take part in a garden initiative aimed at benefiting the local children. After a rewarding morning of working the soil, transporting it, and levelling out garden beds, our boys were able to enjoy the results of their labour.

Partnering with these organisations not only teaches our children the importance of service, but it also builds within them the joy of being part of something worthy.

Something to ponder...

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

- John 11:25-26-

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday,

Nicolette Skead
